Here are 29 new restaurants, food trucks and bars now open in metro Phoenix (2024)

A handful of restaurants opened their doors around metro Phoenix in recent weeks, bringing new offerings for Jamaican food, cereal desserts, teppanyaki and craft beer.

Gov. Doug Ducey now allows restaurants to operate at full dine-in capacity and mask wearing is not required by the state, though businesses may choose to require them. But some health experts say relaxing COVID-19 restrictions in Arizona is premature and risky. Experts estimate at least 70% of the population will need to be vaccinated in order to reach herd immunity, but it's still unclear when or whether Arizona will reach that.
