Hair: White in color and slightly thin. Often tied back into a braid or bun to keep from straying too far into her face.
Eyes: Obscured by a mask near all times.

Build: Somewhat imposing in stature, both tall and more muscled than might be expected. Her build reflects extensive use of a heavy weapon.
Distinguishing Marks: Livia conceals numerous scars on her hands with her gloves. She has a thick and substantial scar which stretches from near her spine over her ribs toward her navel, and a smaller scar is positioned on her chest near her shoulder. Mostly faded, a lotus-shaped scar spans between her shoulder blades.
Common Accessories: Always wears a mask, usually one carved of ash wood and lacquered to an almost iridescent sheen. In the absence of her usual mask, she’s known to use any substitute she can find without particular concern for how unusual or otherwise bizarre it may appear. She also sports dark leather gloves as a characteristic staple of her attire.

Profession: Leader of a small criminal syndicate specializing in money laundering. Predominantly, this means wrangling several persons at a time to do whatever is next necessary for their mutual preservation.
Hobbies: Livia recreationally gardens, but lacks the skill to be considered particularly competent. She took an interest in cultivating particularly fragrant plants to craft perfumes, many of which contained paralytics and poisons (courtesy of the gifted alchemist Charlant Bastoix), as a means to distract herself following the complete loss of her sense of taste some cycles prior.

Residence: Livia resides in an open, isolated estate in the mountains of Western Thanalan. She has an apartment and private chambers, however, in Vylbrand and the Shroud.

Spouse: Livia considered herself to have been married for a period. However, she has tempered any expectation of seeing her partner again after a cycle’s absence, and considers the relationship to have been abandoned. Though unlikely to ever admit it, Livia can be deeply sentimental and slow to move on.
Children: None.
Parents: Marigold and Jonas Crane, two conjurers residing on an orchard in Vylbrand who presume their daughter to be deceased. Despite not seeing them in near 25 cycles and deliberately choosing not to correct their impression about whether she still lives, Livia holds them in somewhat high regard.
Siblings: Oz Crane, a middle aged instructor employed by the conjurer’s guild. Livia cares for him, but spent most of their childhood envious of his superiority over her in most matters.
Other Relatives: Four grandparents scattered across the island nation, two of which manage a small inn in Wineport, and the other two who still reside just outside the walls of Aleport and live on a modest pension.
Pets: None, though she enjoys animals immensely and commonly cares for injured ones well beyond her capacity. On multiple occasions she has been mauled/bitten/stung by creatures she has rehabilitated, including feral bears, a fawn affectionately named “Screamy,” and bees. Presently, a behemoth is rehabilitating on her property. She is fortunate it is friendly.

Under her otherwise jovial and friendly exterior, Livia possesses a cold brutality that can surface alongside her amiable charm. She prefers to manage any injuries independently, and never accepts healing or medical treatments in favor of her own care.

Incendiary - Livia’s questionable judgment has implicated her in a number of crimes. Be it a misunderstanding or completely justified, her likeness has been featured on wanted posters for crimes ranging from solicitation to murder.
Missing Person: Livia is technically a missing person, having not returned to her family home after 10 summers of age. In the cycles following her disappearance, her name earned a certain degree of exposure in Vylbrand on an account of her family having had the resources to fund an extensive search.
Family Legacy: The Crane line is marked by a number of notable conjurors. Livia’s family moved to Middle La Noscea in her youth, before the region had an established settlement. Both her parents were employed as physicians and took house calls while the area was under development. Anyone local to the area might be familiar with the family.

I’m looking for more long-term RP contacts and figure it’s long overdue that I posted about it! Livia’s fairly flexible- she can blend into a decent range of genres and vibe with all sorts of characters. I love character tension, drama, dark themes and conflict in my RP, but a sizable amount of my RP is more humorous. Due to the nature of those themes, communication is important to me! I feel I should also say that while Livia is meant to be a capable character, I’m generally a low-power RPer.
While I consider Livia single, romantic RP isn’t something I plan. I like meaningful relationships to develop slowly with time, effort, and mutual compatibility. That can be a high bar, but it’s not off the table if the situation lends itself to it. As rewarding as having a romantic partner can be, the bread and butter of my RP is character development!
