Last month, I had the privilege of meeting and engaging with our new Group Chief Executive Officer, Mark FitzPatrick during his first official visit to . During his visit we discussed the business as a whole, the exciting opportunities that we see in Asia, and the challenges that we are encountering. It was inspiring for me to meet a fellow South African, who through his hard work and determination over the course of a highly successful international career, has become the Group CEO of a firm with one million clients and £181.9 billion of Fund Under Management.I couldn’t feel more confident about the future of our business with him leading the way forward. Yesterday, Mark announced our half-year results for the six months ended 30 June 2024. Yesterday, myself and Christian Brown CTA, ATT, TEP from RIVERSIDE TRUSTEES LIMITED sat down for 2 hours to discuss and formulate a complex estate plan for one of my client’s with assets across four jurisdictions and the intention to retire and spend the rest of their life in a high-tax jurisdiction. 📝 We managed to come up with some strategic asset structuring magic using a Singapore Discretionary Trust and a few holding companies in strategic jurisdictions.
